The Office of Student Services in collaboration with the Student Doctors Council will be hosting a ‘Breakfast with Santa’ in the Standard Process Student Center on the campus of Logan University.

Santa is scheduled to arrive from the North Pole at 9:00a.m.

Come enjoy a morning of family fun with a hot breakfast, arts and crafts for kids, and of course a picture with the one and only, Santa Claus!

Sign-up sheets will be available in each classroom for students, and faculty and staff should RSVP to student.services@logan.edu by close of day on December 7, 2013. Please include the total number of adults and children (under 10) who will be attending in your RSVP.

  • Male contestants  needed with 1-2 participants from each class ASP through Trimester 10
  • Individuals will be judged on talent (or lack thereof), swimsuit/costume, best posture, dance number choreographed by Dr. Clifford and interview question.
  • Judging panel: Dr. Wittmer, Dr. Snyder, Dr. Ridgeway & Dr. Ignatov
  • Prizes will be awarded to the winners of the judging panel as well as "People's Choice."

Welcome David Rogers to Logan University!

The Division of Enrollment Management is excited to welcome David Rogers, Social Media Strategist to Logan University.   In the position of Social Media Strategist, David reports to Jennifer Reed, Director of Marketing and Public Relations and is responsible for social media, web and social analytics, paid advertising, content management systems (website), mobile marketing and use of experience design.  Most recently,  David worked as an independent consultant for Seafoam Media and Bloguin.  He received a BA in Media Communications and Minor in Marketing and Advertising Communications from Webster University.  David and Jennifer are now both located on the first floor in Room 111.

50/50- Ticket Sale from Lambda Kappa Chi



The Lambda Kappa Chi Pledge Class is selling 50/50 raffle tickets to raise money for breast cancer. Tickets are being sold at five tickets for $3 or ten tickets for $5. The winner of the drawing will receive half of the money collected. The more people that buy a chance, the bigger the prize will become! Tickets will be sold at lunch Monday, November 18- Thursday, November 21. The drawing will be at 11:15 in the cafeteria on Friday November 22.

Thursday, November 14th, 11:05 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Learn how to search databases for research and patient care. Join Sheryl Walters, Reference & eResources Librarian, who will teach you how to set up search strings and locate full text for senior research projects or other research and will show tips on searching for clinical reviews and information at the point-of-care.  This is held in the Distance Learning Room of the LRC.

National Board Information Day – Tuesday November 19 at 11:15 a.m. in the Purser Center

Logan will be holding a National Board (NBCE) information session on Tuesday November 19 at 11:15 a.m. in the Purser Center. This session will provide students information on how to register for the boards, financial considerations, who is eligible to sit for the various board exams, strategies for success on the boards as well as reviewing the plans for faculty board review sessions.

This session will be very informative particularly for students sitting for NBCE exams for the first time. This session is open to all students and we encourage students sitting for Parts 2 &3 to attend as well.
