Each Trimester/ASP/Club/Fraternity/Sorority May Enter Logan’s Great Pumpkin Carving Contest
What’s Happening?
In the spirit of fall, fun and Halloween, Logan University is sponsoring the First Annual Great Pumpkin Carving Contest.
How Does It Work?
Each trimester, including ASP and master's, along with clubs/fraternities/sororities are eligible to enter. Entries are for groups only. ASP, all trimesters and authorized Logan clubs/fraternities/sororities are eligible to enter.What Do I Need to Do?
Step 1 - By Tuesday, October 15, email Pat Jones, vice president of institutional advancement, your completed entry form. You may also drop it by Room 109.Step 2 - Purchase a pumpkin and carve/and or decorate it. Be creative! Place a tea light within the pumpkin so it can be lit. Name your pumpkin. Write the name on an index card.
Step 3 - Thursday, October 24, 2013 – BEFORE NOON - Bring your pumpkin with its name on an index card to Room 109.
Step 4 - Monday, October 28 through Wednesday, October 30 - People’s Choice Voting (students, faculty and staff) for their favorite pumpkin. Entries will be on display in the administration lobby. Entry photos will be posted on Survey Monkey for community voting.
Logan’s Great Pumpkin Carving Contest Prizes
1st Prize = $500 for your trimester/ASP/Masters/club/ fraternity/sorority2nd Prize = $300 for your trimester/ASP/Masters/club/fraternity/sorority
3rd Prize = $200 for your trimester/ASP/Masters/club/fraternity/sorority
Winners will be announced to the community on Thursday, October 31 at 11:15 a.m. in the Standard Process Courtyard!
